Terms and conditions
1. THE CARE OF YOUR PET
We will take every care of your pet while we are working and grooming.
We use the latest washing equipment and have carefully selected all our
grooming and washing products from leading trade suppliers who specialise
in offering professional grooming products. After every completed washing
session we will be happy to discuss the outcome with you to ensure that
our service meets the needs of your pet. We will not take any fees from
you until you have signed our “Satisfied with the grooming of my dog”
disclaimer on our daily work sheet held by your groomer when handing your
dog back after its grooming session with us.
2. OUR STAFF
Our staff have all been picked because of their
love of animals and their desire to work with them full time. They have
all had extensive practical experience and training in dog grooming and
have demonstrated their skills and efficiency in dealing with both pets
and owners. At all times our groomers have the right to refuse to work
with difficult dogs with behaviour problems, but will endeavour to do
everything within their knowledge to help your pets enjoy the process of
being washed and groomed in the DOGGY STYLE MOBILE GROOMING way.
The owner agrees to inform DOGGY STYLE MOBILE GROOMING prior to their dogs
grooming session if the dog has bitten or has aggressive tendencies.
The owner understands they will be held liable for all bites caused by
their dog.
Due to the
expansion and training needs of our service it may be that your groomer is
training towards a City and Guilds Qualification under our Qualified and
Guided Supervision and on occasion alone to our stringent standards. We
carry out this high level of training to ensure both you, and your dog,
receive the best possible service from us both now and in the future.
3. EXAMINATION OF DOG
We will also examine your dog for any irregular lumps or infections
during the grooming process and if anything is found our groomer will
discuss it with you, but it must be stressed that this is not a
professional medical examination as would be given by your vet or medical
advice and for this your vet must be consulted.
4. INSURANCE
At all times we have full Public liability Insurance in the event of
damage, accident or loss to your pet or our staff. Please ask the owner
for more details if necessary.
5.DE MATTING OF FUR
In the event of matted fur resulting in the need to clip tight to the
dogs skin to enable removal, the owner should be aware that irritation may
occur from the shaving process. The dog's skin may get caught because of
the close proximity of working to the skin. The owner agrees that DOGGY
STYLE MOBILE GROOMING shall not be held liable for any after grooming
effects of matt clipping procedures or problems uncovered' on a badly
matted neglected coat The owner agrees to pay all costs for the grooming
of the dog including de-matting which is an extra cost, whether or not the
groomer is able to complete the job.
6.CANCELLATIONS
Missed appointments will incur a fee of 50% of the standard grooming
charge due to the loss of time and travelling costs incurred as this could
have been booked to another dog.
This also applies to cancellations with less than 24 hours notice given
